We're so glad we happened on your location. Our room was very comfortable and it's nice and very quiet off the main street of Manitou Springs. I especially love not having to drag out to a laundry mat. Your laundry room is very clean, bright and I enjoyed being able to relax in your little arbor while the washer/dryer were running. Gene's big moment was when the deer crossed the street and wondered through your front parking area then left through office canopy way. We also enjoyed watching the baby swallows take short flights and rest on the railing right in front of our doorway and bench. You made us feel very welcome and "cared for" during our 5 night stay. While vacationing in September/October I stayed at the Red Wing Motel for almost three weeks. I want AAA to know how pleased I was with my accommodations. My kitchenette was stocked with everything I needed. Cleanliness is important to me and I could tell that it is a priority at the Red Wing. The proprietors and all the staff were wonderful, always ready to help no matter what the request. Located in a perfect location in the foothills of the Rockies, the Red Wing played a major role in the enjoyment of my vacation. Claudia

The week of September, 2004, we were visiting in Manitou Springs and needed lodging for a couple of days. We stopped by your motel and discussed a nights lodging asking to see the room and asking what other entities came with the room. Ron explained everything to us saying the motel was new to them and they were a work in progress. We LOVE your place and looking back over the rest of our trip we should have stayed the whole time with you all and made day trips to sight see.
